On February 6, 1939 AN ACT , To incorporate the Valley Stream and Exempt Firemen's Benevolent Association
was introduced by Mr. John D. Bennettin a Member of the New York State Assembly. The purpose of such a
corporation shall be the maintenance of a suitable headquarters for and the promotion of fraternal intercourses among
the member of the corporation, and the relief, aid and assistance of such members and their families who are
Disabled or Indigent.
