The Valley Stream Fire Department consists of Four Engine Companies Two Truck Companies, and a Heavy  Rescue Company. All supervised by 3 Chiefs, and each company has a Captain and Lieutenant.

 Each Company consists of a number of dedicated individuals who sacrifice countless hours, and at times risk their life for the community of Valley Stream and neighboring towns..
